About Me

Hello and Welcome to my blog.  I am Olivia Thompson.  I am a second grade teacher by trade but have always had a love for decorating and design.  I recently decided to create a separate Instagram account to showcase pictures of projects we've completed in our home.  I felt bad bombarding my personal account friends if they weren't interested with design and one thing led to another and soon after this blog was born! I've decided to turn this blog into a place where I can talk about the renovations we've done to our 1950s ranch and share what went well and what maybe not to do. Most of the projects in my house were completed by my husband and myself (neither of us having any training in renovations or design) with the help of some awesome family members.  I'll be taking you on a tour of our house one room at a time to show you how we transformed our Old Kentucky House into a home.  I will also have some other DIY projects that I will share.  Come along with me and watch our trial and tribulations as do-it-yourself newbies!
